I am making a skirt for my DD, and it calls for the Herringbone Stitch. The instructions say to:
-
K2tog, K2 then insert right needle into the back loop of the stitch below
-
Wind yarn around right-hand needle as you would for a regular knit stitch
-
Pull yarn through to create a stitch, leaving the above stitch on the left needle
-
Knit the above stitch from the left-hand needle
Is the video in Abbreviations Explained for k-b correct for the first step of this stitch (I understand everything else)? In the video, it doesn’t look as if Amy’s needle is going through the back loop :??
I’ll cast on tonight and try a swatch, but any help would be appreciated.
