I am stuck with this cardigan again. The following is the pattern as written. I have what I have finished highlighted in RED What I am having trouble with is in BLUE I hope you don’t think I am the stupidist person on earth as this is supposed to be an easy sweater, but I am just so screwed up! I picked up the stitches from my marker up along the front panel of the sweater, up over the shoulder and down the back to where I had my marker. I did the reverse stockinette for three rows and it looks wrong! The stitches are going vertically out away from the sweater and not horizontal like the rest of the sweater. is that right or if not, what am I doing wrong? If it is wrong, I don’t understand how to pick up the stitches then. I have read this thing about 50 times and can’t figure out what I am doing wrong. TX
