Hello I am new to this forum and knitting! I am stuck on a pattern
can any one help me please.
I am knitting a cardigan and it says :
With rs facing pick up and knit 9 sts evenly along right side of neck, 15 sts from 13 cast off sts at back of neck and 9. Sts evenly along left side of neck. ???
I understand pick up stitches but am stumped on what they mean. Can any one help PLEASE. :knitting:
Thank you

Welcome to Knitting Help!
Youβre picking up sts for the collar or neckband. Seam the fronts to the back at the shoulders. Start on the right side of the neck (this is on the right front as you would wear the sweater) pick up 9sts approximately evenly. You can put a marker about halfway along this area and pick up 4sts before the marker, a stitch at the marker and 4 after the marker to help distribute the sts evenly. Then pick up across the back and down the left front neck edge. Markers may help you here too, to make sure the sts are approximately evenly picked up.
Can you give us a pattern name or link to the pattern?
Thank you for that it make a bit more sense now.
The pattern I am following is:
Squiggly knits. Sirdar. Itβs got 387 code B in the corner. I am knitting design 9357 .
Thank you once again I will give it a go, but will probably be back for help.
