Change from stockinette to garter :woohoo:

The simplest answer is to do the knit stitch across every row.

When you come to the knit row where the purl bumps are facing you, knit that row instead and the following ones too.

Been doing that and not realising it thought it looked more like reverse st thanks both x

Garter st is going to look like bumps on both sides of your work. Stockinette and reverse st st will have bumps on one side but the other side will have Vs.

Yes to all of the other responses on how to.

I’d have to say it depends on what your project needs doing. If you need to maintain the stockinette gauge, I’d go with reverse stockinette.

Otherwise you could go with garter stitch, knitting every row. My garter st gauge is way different than that for my stockinette, so it was worth mentioning, just in case you’re in the same situation.

As with all things, your mileage may vary.

Happy knitting!
