Help!

what does starting at narrow edge mean?
PLEASE HELP ME!!

It’s impossible to help much w/o more info.

What pattern are you doing and do you have a link? What part of the pattern are you working on?

sorry!! here is the pattern
fisherman cables and lattice
it says starting at narrow edge, cast on 64sts loosely;do not join, work back and forth in rows.

There’s no link. Is it just a practice piece or are you making something?

The only time I’ve come across this particular phrase is when I’m working on an afghan. If such is the case for you, then “starting at narrow edge” is just to let you know that you are working from top to bottom (narrow edges) rather than from side to side (long edges). … and I won’t tell you how many years it took me to figure that out! :teehee:

THANK YOU VERY,VERY MUCH
NOW THAT YOU’VE SAID THAT IT IS QUITE FUNNY
THAT I DIDN’T NO THAT ,BUT I AM A NOVOICE.
BUT AGAIN THANK YOU MUCH!!
