Hi! I just started knitting a baby blanket. It calls for 8 rows of garter stitch. I think I have done 4 rows but got a phone call and lost track. Is there a way to figure out how many rows you’ve knitted?

Count the bumpy ridges; when you have 4 on both sides you’ve done 8 rows.

If you have done 3 rows or 5 rows, it doesn’t matter, it will not ruin your blanket.
