Chest shaping: In est pattern, bind off 6 at the beg of next two rows.–then purl 1 row.
Dec Row ( this is were I get lost) k1, sl1, k1 ,psso ,k across to last 3 st ,k2tog, k1. Rep last 2 rows until 32 sts rem.

The rows where you bind off 6 stitches will only be done once for a total of 12 stitches bound off.

Purl 1 row.

For the decrease row, you will knit one (k1) then slip one, knit one, and pass slipped stitch over. This decreases 1 stitch. Then, knit until you have 3 stitches remaining, knit 2 together, then knit 1. Two stitches are decreased on each repeat of the decrease row.

So the “rep last 2 rows until 32 sts rem” will be a repeat of:

Purl 1 row
Decrease row
Purl 1 row
Decrease row

You will repeat these two rows until you have 32 stitches left, then proceed with the next instruction.

In the decrease row, you knit the first stitch, then slip the 2nd stitch onto the right needle, don’t knit it or anything just slip it on the needle, knit the third stitch and without taking it off the left needle, pass the slipped stitch over the the one you just knit. Knit to the last three stitches, put your needle through two loops on your left needle and knit them together. Knit the last stitch.

There are also videos on how to do the slip 1, knit1, psso and knit 2 together in the glossary.

Hope this helps!

Also, sl1, k1, psso, is the same as SSK - slip a st, slip a st, then knit them together.
