Help!

Can someone help decipher what the following instructions mean. It’s a drop design and not clear…Bind off at each neck edge on every other row: 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 1 time. Bind off after finishing the Pattern.

What is the name or number of the Drops pattern?
You’re to bind off 2sts at the neck edge on each side and then one stitch at the neck edge on each side. You can either do this one side of the neck at a time or use two yarn sources and work the two neck edges at the same time.
For one edge at a time. say that you’re starting with the right shoulder (right shoulder as you would wear the sweater) . Work in pattern on a wrong side row to the neck edge of the right shoulder, turn and bind off 2sts then work to the end of row. Turn and work across to the neck edge, turn and bind off one stitch then finish the row.
For the left shoulder attach a new end of yarn at the neck edge, bind off 2sts and work to the end of row. Turn and work the right side row to the neck edge, turn and bind off one stitch then finish the row.

Sorry I can’t find a number. It is called Fish Tales boys size 5/6. I am at the Front Section. Front: 68-72-76 (84-88-92) sts. Continue to knit in Pattern as above. When the work measures 41-

44-49 (50-52-54) cm [16-1/8» - 17.25" - 19.25» (19.75" - 20.5» - 21.25»)], bind off the center 24-

24-26 (22-24-24) sts for the neck. Bind off at each neck edge on every other row: 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 1 time. Bind off after finishing the Pattern. The work measures approximately 45-48-53 (55-57-60)

ст[17.75»- 18-7/8» - 20-7/8» (21-5/8» - 22.5» - 23-5/8»)].

Great looking sweater!

Work across the RS (right side) row binding off the center 24sts and continue on to finish the row.
Turn to the WS (wrong side) row and work across to the neck edge (shoulder 2). Drop the yarn strand and attach a new yarn strand to shoulder 1. Bind off 2sts at the neck edge then work to the end of the row and turn to the RS. Work across this RS row of shoulder 1 to the neck edge, drop the yarn strand and pick up the yarn strand attached to shoulder 2. Bind off 2sts and then work to the end of the RS row.
Now you’ll repeat the process binding off one stitch at the neck edge of shoulder 1 and then one stitch at the neck edge of shoulder 2.
It may help to place a marker at the neck edge so that you’re sure to bind off here and not at the armhole edges.

Thanks for sharing the pattern name. I haven’t seen that pattern before and it comes in a size suitable for my son so I’ve saved it. There seems to be a lack of teen sweaters out there.
Hope to see a pic of your finished sweater.

Good morning. Do I bind off as you directed continually until the work measures 18 7/8 inches or only one time each? I’ve done it continually and the neck edge looks really wide. Thank you once again.

Only one time each. Bind off 2sts at the beginning of the left neck edge then 2sts at the beginning of the right neck edge. Next, bind off one stitch at the beginning of the left neck edge then one stitch at the beginning on the right neck edge. That’s it. Neck bind offs finished.
Sorry for the confusion. When I said repeat the process, I meant repeat once more with the bind off of one stitch at each neck edge not to continue that bind off. My mistake in not being clearer.
