Horseshoe cable blanket (knit) Bernat pattern blanket yarn …totally stuck on how to proceed after first two rows of cable pattern are knit??
So you’ve already finished the 4" of the border and started the cable panel? The first 2 rows show you where to place the cable panels, rows 1 and 2.
For row 3 of the blanket, continue with the pattern as given in row 1 but substitute row 3 of the cable panel.
For row 4 of the blanket, continue with the pattern as given in row 2 but substitute row 4 of the cable panel.
You’ll keep working the blanket pattern and in each row, move one row along on the cable panel. When you finish row 12 of the cable panel, start back on row 1.

I’m glad you’ve figured this out!! I have seen at least 10 posts with questions about this pattern!!! Is there a way to contact the designer or company and ask them to re-write this pattern??? Just so it’s simpler to read.
