I’m trying to make a scarf, at the end of each right side row the last three instructions are:
yo
slip 1 wyib
slip 1 wyib
do I assume that each stitch is slipped knit wise?

I think usually you slip purlwise, but I could certainly be wrong
Slip purlwise I think, only slip knitwise if the slip st is part of a decrease and that doesn’t seem to be the case here.
thanks for your reply, I’m still struggling, the pattern has 67 stitches but I keep loosing one or two - I think it might be due to something I’m not doing correctly at the end of each RS row, the instructions are to:
yo
slip 1 wyib
slip1 wyib
I don’t know if I’m supposed to hold the yarn on the opposite side of the work, (keep holding it there) do the two slips - then turn the work around with the yarn now in the front then, to do the first stitch which is 1 knit stitch, swing the yarn around to the back to make that stitch (which effectively has the yarn crossing the two slipped stitches!!
As I said in the other post, yes, slip those stitches (purlwise) and use the yarn from where it is.
