I started knitting about 6 months ago after not doing so for 20 yrs. In my previous life I knit baby items, sweaters, mittens, etc., and would say I reached the intermediate level.
I would like to make a lace & cable hat with Cascade 220 yarn. The pattern is http://www.cascadeyarns.com/patternsFree/220Heather_LaceCableHat.pdf.
In Row 2 of the stitch pattern, one of the stitches abbreviation is “YOMK1” – it is in the last 7 stitches of the row. I have searched several sites to see if I could determine what this abbreviation is, but have had no luck. YO is ‘yarn over’ but just can’t figure this one out.
Any help would be appreciated as I think this hat would be great for my granddaughter! Thank you!
