Help with understanding pattern repeats to fit count given

#1

Figured it out.

Very delicate and pretty!

Perhaps @OffJumpsJack or @okckwilter can help out with these instructions.

Wow, that’s a brain stumper. See what you think of this idea:
Ch 3, dc in 1st ch-1 sp = 2
dc5sp 4 times = 20 st
work [dc6sp; dc5sp 9 times] 4 times Because there’s a semi-colon in there, REPEAT ONLY the 5 stitches 9 times? = [45 + 6] x 4 = 204 st
dc6sp = 6 st
dc5sp 4 times = 20
dc twice = 2
254 total? Is my count right?

Thanks. Figured that out a little while ago. Duh!! What a difference a little sleep made.

In the above phrase, [dc6sp is done once then dc5sp is done 9 times] and that pattern is then repeated 4 times.

And again my post was done and waited hours before I hit reply :confounded:.
