Help with understanding a pattern note

Hi, I am using a British patterns and need help with the repeat instruction. It is Willow crochet by Jan Eaton.
Round 4:

… * instructions…** more instructions

THEN IT SAYS rep from * twice and from * to ** once again.

Does that mean * to END twice and * to ** once.

I understand the stitches but not the repeat.

Yes, that’s the way i would read it, too. You can usually confirm by counting the number of sts.
