I am knitting a throw and am stumped by one of the stitches. The instruction is:
RS row: K2tog; *(K1,YO, K1) all in next stitch; Sl1 as if to purl, K2tog, PSSO; repeat from *
I don’t understand the K1, Yo, K1 all in the next (ie. 1 st?)st. Should I K1, Yo, then put the st and YO back on left needle and K tog? I don’t think that can be right …
Any help appreciated.
Yeah I can see how that would be confusing. What you want to do is knit into the stitch but don’t drop it off the left needle, yarn over, then knit into the stitch that you left on your needle, this time dropping it off. This will be a double increase.
I got one video guide here on YouTube: https://youtu.be/VNzx4hHtbyo
