Hi, I’m knitting a cardigan and the sleeves instruction is confusing
to me after the ribbing for inc the sleeve. what does the following instruction mean?
1 inc st each side every 10th(8th,6th,6th,4th) row 5 (7,9,9,4) times,then every 0(0,0,0,6th) rows 0(0,0,0,7) times-36(40,44,48,52) sts.

The numbers apply to the various sizes. If you’re making the smallest, they read:
1 inc st each side every 10th row 5 times—36sts total.
For the largest size
1 inc st each side every 4th row 4 times,then every 6th row 7 times—52 sts total.
If the instructions say 0 for your size you can skip them.
You’ll be increaseing on [I]each[/I] side of the row so that’s 2 sts increased each time.
