Help with SIRDAR pattern

I am back to knitting after a long absence. I am having trouble understanding a SIRDAR (from UK) pattern. I am knitting a baby sweater. For the 3rd row, these are the instructions. There are 35 stitches on the needle.

"Inc in 1st st, k4, p1, *k3, p1, rep from * to last 5 sts, k3, inc in next st, k1. 37 sts."
Can you please help me understand the increases? Also what kind of increase is this? A bar increase?

When a pattern calls for an increase IN a stitch, knit front and back of the stitch. This will use a stitch and keep the count and pattern in place.
