Help with scarve instructions

i found this link to make a simple scarf. can anyone tell me what they mean by ‘End with K3.’ ? does this mean knit the last 3 rows or end every row with 3 knit stitches???

Cast on 23 sts or a multiple of 4 plus 3 sts.
K2, P2 across row. End with K3. Repeat this row until desired length (40-44 for a “dress” scarf).
Bind off.

yeah when you get to the end of your row you are always going to be left with an odd number of stitches. you should knit those three.
