Hi can anyone explain this part of my pattern please?
and pick up and knit 4 [4: 4: 5: 5] sts down left side of neck, knit across 14 [16: 16: 16: 16] sts from front holder, pick up and knit 4 [4: 4: 5: 5] sts up right side of neck, 12 sts from top of right sleeve, knit across 16 [18: 18: 20: 20] sts from back holder and pick up and knit 12 sts from top of left sleeve. 62 [66: 66: 70: 70] sts.
I am a bit of a novice and I think I’ve chosen a pattern that’s a bit too advanced!!

This sounds like part of the finishing so you’ve done a great job of getting yourself to this portion of the pattern so far.
Start at the left side of the neck (that’s the left side as you would wear the sweater). Pick up the given number of sts for your size, knit across the held front sts, then pick up along the right side of the neck and the top of the right sleeve. Continue around as given in the pattern.
