Hello! I found a lovely pattern by Louisa Harding called Frosted Leaves. I only have West Yorkshire Spinners’ retreat chunky weighted wool and the pattern requires aran weighted wool. Please could somebody tell me if I can use the chunky wool in the pattern? I read on Ravelry that the pattern requires aran.
Have you tried knitting a swatch to see how close you can get to the pattern gauge? The swatch will also give you an idea of the drape of the knit fabric.
Since this isn’t a fitted garment, you can play around with the yarn and needle size a bit but in general, the thicker yarn will give you a larger scarf.
