I am a new knitter and not sure about these directions. It says to knit to last stitch and turn on Row 2 and knit to last two stitches and turn on Row 4 and continues. What do you do with the last stitches on the row? Do you remove them from the right needle and continue with the next row? :think: Thanks for your help.
If a pattern says to turn your work when there are still stitches on the needle, you are doing what are called short rows. Just leave them unknit and turn your work. This helps shape the work.
Later on in the pattern it tells you to knit across the row and that’s when you’ll work on those stitches again.
