Help with pattern
A bit hard to understand the way it is written, but they do want you to do two yarnovers in a row. Usually this would just be written as a double yarnover.
When you get to a double yarnover on the wrong side, they want you to purl and then knit into it. It should have been written “WS rows: Purl. Where there is a double yarnover, purl and then knit into the loops.”
I found a tutorial that shows both!
Welcome to the forum!
At the end of the 2nd k2tog, yo, start the next step with another yo. Yes, as you thought there will be a double yarn over. This makes a larger eyelet than a single yarn over.
When you come to the double yo, purl into it and then knit into it. (You’ll see that it’s really one big yarn over.)
At 3:00 min the fabulous Knit Purl Hunter shows how to work a purl then a knit into the 2 yarn overs.
