Hi ,iam knitting a basket weave pattern blanket for my first Grandchild but the pattern does not say what length for a pram blanket.

Congratulations on the new grandchild! That’s wonderful news.
Pram blankets come in a range of sizes from square (typically 30" x 30") to 30" x 35" and 30" x 40" and beyond. You might judge from the width in order to determine length.
The pattern is very pretty and your knitting is lovely. What is the name of the pattern?

That is beautiful work!! I’d like to make that into a blanket. But I’m wondering, how do u know how many to cast on?
