Hi ,iam making a hat ,but stuck the pattern says s1,k1 * p2,c4f ,p2 k3 .repeat from * to last 10 sts ,p2,c4f ,p2 ,k2 .
What do I do with the 4 sts on the cable needle ?
Next row S1,*k2,p4,k2,p3 repeat from * to last 10 sts ,k2 ,p4 ,k2,p1 ,k1
Is it a mistake should it be p2 k2 (instead of k3 ) .
Most patterns give you a key which explains how to work the cable,a c4f is often worked by slipping 2 stitches into your cable needle,hold to the front,knit 2 stitches from left needle,knit the stitch es from the cable needle.
What pattern are you using?
It would help to answer if we knew the pattern name
