I am starting this shrug/bolero pattern called Girls Want to Have fun (free on Ravelry) and I do not understand the highlighted yellow step I’m including here. I’m not understanding why it would get joined in the round for the body. The sleeves? That makes sense. But I’m stumped. Is there something missing? Would love some help trying to visualize this instruction. Also unclear where it says “knit to the end.”

You’ve been knitting most of the body so far. The highlighted section is saying to join in the round. This will make the opening for the body. This project shows the opening.

After you join the live sts and provisional cast on sts in the round, you’ll have twice the stitch number. Knit around those sts to form the sleeves and then the body ribbing.
