Help with pattern please

I’m not really sure where the pattern repeat is in this section of this pattern, because the first asterisk isn’t in the pattern (typo). Here’s how the pattern is written:

Loosely ch 136 (154, 169).
Foundation Row: Beginning in 4th ch from hook, dc in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, dc in next 2 ch; repeat from * across, end dc in last 2 ch—134 (152, 167) sts, turn.

Where does this pattern begin? I can try to e-mail Caron, but they don’t have a separate link for pattern help, so I’m afraid I won’t be able to get a response.

Most logical repeat would be:

Foundation Row: Beginning in 4th ch from hook, dc in next ch, *ch 1, skip 1 ch, dc in next 2 ch; repeat from * across, end dc in last 2 ch—134 (152, 167) sts, turn

I’m still not that advanced of a crocheter, so for me to guess where the repeat would’ve started would’ve been too difficult for me to figure out. Thank you very much!!!:cheering:

I don’t know that I’m correct - just that makes the most sense to me…

it will make a repeating pattern of 2 double crochets with a single chain over a space between each set of double crochets.

Thats where I would have put the * in my head too.

Me too! Have you tried it, and did the stitch count come out right?
