Hi I’m struggling to understand part of a pattern and wondered if anyone could help please?
I am knitting a beret, it states to rep these decs (2 sets of decrease rows) again as follows:
Twice every 4 rows, twice every 2 rows
I haven’t got a clue what this means?

You’re only to repeat the decrease row at the top of the column. The number of sts between the decreases will change so it may be helpful to place a marker at each decrease as a reminder.
Work the 3 rows after that dec row at the top of the column as stated in the pattern.
Call the next row, row 1. Decrease on row 1 and row 5 and again on row 7.
Thank u I think after I had finished and made a little bit of a mess of it, I clicked what I should have done. Nothing a bit of sewing couldn’t sort out with shape of beret lol
