Okay so I’m making a vest and I’m working on the back. I’m up to the part where I start decreaseing for the armholes. I don’t really understand the instruktions.

That’s translated from Swedish. I wanted to keep the translation closer to the original text than to perfect English 
So my question is this, do I drecrease 3 st BOTH at the begining AND at the end of everyother row?
Are you sure the `3 sts’ part isn’t a typo or mistranslation? When you decrease stitches at both ends of a row, you dec 1 at the beginning and 1 at the end for a total of 2 decs per row. Or you would BO several sts at the beginning of a row, for 2 rows, then start decs.

Yes, though you bind off only at the beginning of the rows, usually `the next 2 rows’, then dec. Or just do a BO and no decs; or maybe BO for several rows. Does the pattern have a drawing of the pieces? You can generally go by the shape.
