Im knitting this baby pants and not sure what the pattern means when it says “make 1 with strand from second yarn over” in the following set of instructions

Round 1: Knit to 2 stitches before second marker, ssk, remove marker, k2tog, knit to end of round.
Round 2: Knit to opening, yo twice, knit to end of round.
Round 3: Knit to yarn overs, knit first yarn over and make1 with strand from second yarn over, knit to end of round.

is it asking me to just knit the two yarn overs once? Please help.

I would say it means to k each of the 2 yo loops you made. Like you do when incresasing a stitch by knit front & back into one st. So where you did the, yo twice, you will now have 2 new stitches over an eyelet hole.

Sounds similar to a pattern I dabbled with recently where it had you purl into the first strand of a double y/o then knit the second strand to give you two stitches from one, (an inc.).
