I want to make sure I do the even rows correctly. When I do row 2 I start with p1 and (k2,p2 ) 6 times ending with p3. I am correct in doing the reverse of what the even row instructions are?

Thanks, Annie

Yes, you are correct in that you will be doing the opposite/reverse of what you did on the odd rows.

In rows 2, 4, 6, and 14, 16, 18: P1, (P2, K2) 6 times, P3.
Rows 8, 10, 12: P1, (P2, K6) 3 times, P3.
Rows 20, 22, 24: P3, K2, P2 (K6, P2) twice, K2, P3.

Rows 1, 3, 5, 13, 15, and 17: K3, (p2, k2) 6 times, end k1.

Row 2 and All Even Rows: K the knit sts and p the purl stitches.

Rows 7, 9, and 11: K3, (p6, k2) 3 times, end k1.

Rows 19, 21, and 23: K3, p2, (k2, p6) twice, k2, p2, k3.

Row 24: Same as Row 2.

Therefore it would be:

Rows 2, 4, 6, 14, 16, 18, 24: P3, (K2, P2) 6 times, end P1.

Rows 8, 10, 12: P3, (K6, P2) 3 times, end P1.

Rows 20, 22: P3, (K2, P6) twice, end P2, K2, P3.
