Help with knitting pattern

Hi everyone
I’m really hoping someone can help with my query.
I am knitting a hooded cardigan and have 71 stitches on my needle ready to shape the first side of the hood.
The pattern says:
1st Row - P3, turn
2nd Row - S11,K2

I am confused because if I turn after purling 3, I only have 3 stitches to be able to slip!!! I am a novice so any help would be very much appreciated
( I have read about wrap and turn so imaging the answer may be linked?)
Thanks so much in advance

Welcome!
After the turn, you have 3 sts on the needle, slip one and then k2. You only need to slip a single stitch. This is just a turn and it may be to create the edge on the hood so it doesn’t sound like you need a wrap & turn here.
Can you give us a link to the pattern or a pattern name?

The S11 you are reading, is really Sl1.

i.e. you aren’t to slip 11 sts, you are to slip 1 st.

Thank you so much!!! You are absolutely correct
I was misreading the pattern and thought it said SL11 when it actually said SL1!!! What a silly billy !!! Thank you
