My pattern says K2, YO, SL2K, K1, p2sso, YO, K1. As I knit my swatch, I am not sure whether after I do the yarn over and slip two stitches knit wise do I put the yarn back in knit position before I do the knit one or do I keep it in front in the yarn over position and do the knit one? When I leave it in front, the two slipped stitches, kind of slide underneath it so then when I have to pass them over, I have to push the yarn over above so I can get to those two stitches.
Yarn over the right needle to the back, slip 2sts knitwise, k1 (the yarn is already held to the back), p2sso. Yes the slipped sts are going move beneath the yarn over so you will have to pick up those 2 slipped sts from under the yarn over in order to lift them over the k1. Sometimes it helps to place your right index finger on the yarn over if you can, to hold it in place and away from the slipped sts.
