Help with King Cole Pattern 5905
Welcome to the forum!
Your pattern comes in different sizes. Follow the directions for stitch number or type of stitch for the size you are making. For the beginning of Row 18, P6 for the first size, purl 5 for the second size, purl 4 for the third size and so on. The for all sizes, p2tog.
Thank you for your reply.
It seems odd that there are less stitches for the larger size, so for a large, I purl 4 (3rd number) but for a small, you would purl 6? Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me!
This is King Cole 5905
The difference is in the body of the row. Among the differences, the large section in parentheses is worked 10times for size S and 14 times for the largest size. The final stitch numbers refect the size differences ranging from 73 to 101sts.
Thank you! I can see that does make sense now.
I got a pen and paper and worked out the stitches and it does work
This forum is great, especially for a newbie like me
