Help with instructions

Good morning lovely knitters,
Please help me again.
My instructions are for Left front of the sweater: Shape armhole and front slope- Keeping patt correct, cast off 5sts at beg and dec 1 st at end of next row (76 sts left) work 1 row. I did this. Then the instructions state:
Dec 1 st at armhole edge of next 5 rows, then on foll 4 alt rows, then on foll 4th row and at same time dec 1 st at front slope edge of next and 4 alt rows, then on 2 for 4th rows until 59 sts.
Then dec 1 st at front slope edge only on 4th and foll 0 alt rows, then on 14 foll 4th rows. Leaving 44 sts.

I am getting completely confused with what it is asking me to do.
If some one can help to simplify.

A pattern link is always helpful. Sometimes just seeing a photo is a big help.

These kind of instructions are always so insane to read. I find the easiest thing to do is to write out each set (front and armhole) separately and then cross the decreases off as I knit.
The decs at the armhole edge are on rows 1,2,3,4,5 and then rows 7,9,11,13 and finally row 17.
The decs at the front edge are on rows 1,3,5,7,9, then rows 13 and 17.
That leave 59sts. The on the front edge on rows 21, 25,29,33,37 etc until 44sts remain.
