I am new at knitting and am having problems with a pattern I was given which is for a “spritzer scarf”, a small, triangular shaped scarf. The directions tell me to cast on 3 stitches, knit those and then increase 1 at the beginning of each row (on a size 15 needle). I think I am considered a continental knitter, since I hold my yarn in my left hand, however, I just cannot figure out the increase at the beginning of the row…even while watching Amy’s video…can someone help?!! I’m also not sure of which increase to use since the pattern doesn’t make any notation of a Make One, etc. Thanks.
I would guess that you would knit in the front and back of the first stitch for every increase row.
