I have a pattern where I am on Row 25, and it says “increase 2 sts per row on every 5th and 11th row 8 times, total 32 sts increased.” Which rows will the increases be on?
I was thinking every 5th row will mean Rows 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65…
And every 11th row will be 36, 47, 58, 69, 80, 91, 102, 113.
Is that right? For some reason it just seemed like a really weird way to set up increases.
You alternate the increasing on the 5th and 11th rows, so it would be rows 30, 41, 46, 57, 62, 73, 78, etc. That seems like a really odd increase rate though - what’s the pattern?
ALSO, the increase round is M1L, knit to end of round, M1R (this is sleeves). That puts the increases right on top of each other. I ended up doing M1L, k to last stitch, M1R, k1.
