Help with Decreasing

I am a left handed combination knitter who is struggling to get my decreases to come out right. I’ve tried to follow instructions on this site and others but my stitches still look twisted. Please can someone help me?

I don’t knit that way so can’t help, but do you know about this site by Annie Modesitt? It is subtitled “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Combination Knitting.” On the left side of this page is a list of topics you can look at and decreases are one listed. See it this helps.

For combination knitting you need to do the reverse of what the pattern says. So if it’s a ssk, do k2tog; if k2tog, do ssk.
