Help with crayon box jacket or sweater

hi, i hope this is where to post this, i was told this crayon box was easy, but i am having lots of trouble. has anyone made it, do i just make all the squares, or join them as i knit thanks joan

What does the pattern tell you to do? The pattern should have a schematic that shows how the squares go together.

Annie’s Attic has a crayon box jacket pattern – is that what you’re making? That one is mitered squares, joined as you go.
