Help with converting pattern...sort of

Please reroute if this is in the wrong spot!

Anyway, I am wanting to knitthis hat in
this yarn (or maybe this yarn), and am just wondering if I do that, will the hat look funny or will it just get bigger? I am knitting for my friend’s baby who is a yr old but was premature so is only fitting about 6 mos clothing right now.

Advice greatly appreciated.

I can’t seem to get your yarn pages to load, but the pattern seems to state that you should use Worsted weight yarn for infant size (versus DK weight yarn for preemie/newborn).

Lovely pattern – thanks for pointing us to it. I’m going to need a baby gift shortly and this is perfect if the baby is a girl!
