hello, i was wondering if someone could answer this simple question, which is the front and back side of my work when i am knitting with circular needles?

If you’re working properly on the needle, the stitches that are knit after the border would be the right side–on the outside of the work. The inside would be the, well, inside of the hat.

Thanx so much the tutorial really helped…turns out i’ve been doing it all wrong =/ oh well i guess i have to resort to the good old frogging
