Hello, I’m new to KnittingHelp.com and I’m a bit confused about a sweater pattern I’m working on. Many of my past knitting/crochet projects have been followed online (YouTubes) but for this project I am following a written pattern. I’m a bit confused about the raglan shaping part. I am knitting a size large men’s sweater with a crew neck and the amount of decreases to the sweater will (I think) affect my cable pattern- if I’m reading it correctly. The remainder stitches to go on a holder are 44 stitches. The cable pattern in the center of the sweater is 56 stitches. This will cut into my pattern?
If someone could shed some light I’d really appreciate it.
I have cut and pasted the Raglan Shaping portion of my pattern.
