Help with adding soft texture to bernat boucle stripes pattern?

Hey all;

I am making an afghan with Bernat Soft Boucle Stripes yarn in Sage.
This is the first time I’ve used this yarn, and I’m doin’ it straight ol’ knit & purl to keep it simple for me. I’m still new-ish,
SO: my questions:

What can I add to it to make it fuzzy? (Like, Divine or something?)
But that won’t interfere with the pattern? (if it even will?)

Not sure I fully understand the question. Are you wanting to alternate two yarns for a “fuzzy” effect? If so I should think any “fuzzy” yarn would do the trick.
