Help with a pattern

If the line reads:
Knit and dec 2 sts evenly acrioss next 75 sts
Am I suppose to
K1, k2tog, k2tog, k1, k2tog, k2tog…and so on?

All you want to do is decrease 2 stitches total. If you knit 23. k2tog, knit 24, k2tog and then knit to the end of the row, that should do it.

You just need to dec twice, evenly spaced apart.
