Help with a pattern transitioning from ribbing to stockinette stitch?

Hello! I’m working on my first ever sweater. The pattern says “Rep last 2 rows of (K2. P2) ribbing until work from beg measures 3 ins [7.5 cm], ending with a purl row”.

Does this mean I end this part by knitting a ribbed row which starts with purl stitches (i.e. P2, K2), or end with a row entirely of purl stitches?

If it helps any, here is the pattern I am using.

I am going to say it is an error because if you look at the Sleeve it says, ending with a WS row, which makes more sense to me then you can start the next section with a Right Side Row.
