I have a pattern that says k1 W and later on K3 W… I can not find this anywhere what on earth is this??:knitting:
 I have never heard of such a thing. What is the name of the project you’re working on? So far I’ve found for W:
WS
WYIB
WYIF
Also, knitWise purlWise
WON
WRN
I’ve never heard of that either. Can we have a pattern name and link?
Maybe it’s explained somewhere in the pattern.
can you please type up more of the pattern? maybe title and publisher, intrigued!
It is a the tardis from doctor who, a travel mug tardis cozie to be exact.
The abbreviation means: Knit one WHITE (K1W) and Knit one Blue (K1BL)
Sigh, my only excuse? I was reallllly tired and just plain overthought it!! Sorry guys and thanks for trying to come to my rescue!!
:wall:
I promise, you’re not the only one who ever had that happen. I’m glad you got it figgered out. ![]()
:roflhard: omg that is just too funny! Thanks for the laugh!
The sense of the W’s got in the Tardis and therefore, until it returned, was not to be found. ![]()
Oh that’s hilarious!! Glad you figured it out - can’t WAIT to see that Tardis!!, big fan of Dr. Who.
I’m a Dr. Who fan myself so I hope to see your project when you’re done:thumbsup:
