[B]I’m knitting a ribbed tank top, my first garment, and am almost finished with the front and back. Now, I notice that the beginning side edge, (p2, k1) is longer than the opposite side. This is the case with both the front and back pieces. Will it block out evenly? It is SW Trading Bamboo. Any suggestions? I pulled the beginning stitches as tightly as possible to try to keep them snug. What am I doing wrong, if anything? [/B]

It could just be your tension as you start the row. I’d say with seaming and blocking, it should be fine.
