I am knitting a fairly snug, lacy cowl in fingering weight alpaca. I tried binding off with K2tog bind off and regular knit bind off. Both have produced a much too tight hem.
I need something really stretchy for the bind off. The cast on was very stretchy, and I would like the BO to be similar.
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance!
Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off will work great for it.

yes, the JSSBO (Jenny’s… and so on) will work well. Also the one where you split the top rows over at least 2 rounds / rows of working one stitch and slipping the next with yarn in front (next time you work the round or on the WS rows, work the other stitches and slip the ones just worked with yarn in front), then seperate to two needles one by one alternatingly. and bind off with kitchener stitch. It mostly goes by the name of tubular bind-off. I did not find a video this quickly.
My cowl/neckwarmer got the JSSBO lately and I am happy with that (but the endpaper mitts I am making these days get a tubular bind off like the one I said.)
Wow, that is stretchy! Thanks, Jan! You’re a project saver!
