Help reading increase in pattern

I am working on a pattern with some directions that I am not sure I understand, these are the directions:

Next Round- k to within 1 st of marker, k into the front and back of the next stitch (inc), slip marker, inc, repeat at each marker, k to to the end of the round.

Question, do I knit into the front and back of the stitch before the marker then slip the marker and knit into the front and back of the next stitch after the marker, then proceed.

Thanks once again.

Yes, you’re exactly right. Knit into the front and back of the stitch just before the marker, and the one just after the marker.

Thank you KnitQueen, here I was second guessing myself, as to what it meant. And then I just say, forget it.

Thanks for clearing it up. I am sure it will make sense as I knit on and see the results. 9esp with knowing how to read the directions now.)
