Help please! Cardigan with pockets!

Can anyone help with this please?
I am stuck on the stitch holders part! What does it actually mean by work 46 rows- is the holder included in that? Or just the main sts
Same for each instruction titles “next row”
I’m really stuck!

What is the name of your pattern and the designer or source?

It’s confusing because you have 2 sets of 27sts on 2 holders. The first set of 27sts on hold is for the pocket front. When you cast on 27sts and continue with the entire 54sts, that’s working the pocket back and the cardigan body itself. Work for 46 rows across these 54sts.
When you again cast off 27sts, you’ve finished the pocket back. The sts for the body of the cardigan go on hold at this point (confusingly, this is also 27sts, the second 27)
Now it’s time to pick up the first 27sts on hold for the pocket front and work 46 rows on them to catch them up to the held body sts.
When you get to the circled row (below) you’ll join the pocket front which is on the needles to the second set of 27sts (the cardigan body sts).
If this isn’t clear, I can try diagram but it’s so 3 dimensional that I’m not sure if that will help.
