this is the first time I post a post on a blog, but I am French and I try to make a jacket on a model of Grace Melville. Unfortunately, I do not understand a passage about the hood decreases :
Decrease 1 st at beg of next and foll 6th row, then on 4 foll 4th rows, then on foll 8 alt rows, then at same edge on foll 7 rows. Could someone help me, because I don’t understand all of these abbreviations. Thank you very much.

Call the next row, row 1. Decrease at the beginning of rows 1, 7 and then 11,15,19 and 23. Dec at the beg of rows 25,27,29,31,33,35,37 and 39 then rows 40,41,42,43,44,45,46.
