I’m knitting a baby sweater pattern that is a Debby Bliss pattern. This is what it says-
(Starting w 33 stitches) “Work in sleeve pattern stitch, inc 1 st at each end of every 6th and foll 4th rows alternately until there are 51 stitches, taking all inc sets into patt”. (The sleeve pattern stitch has 10 rows that are repeated).
What do you think this means???
I thought it meant inc 1 st at each end of the 6th row (1st set of 10 rows), then inc 1 st at each end of the 4th row (2nd set of 10 rows), then 6th, then 4th, etc…but doing it this way to go from 33 to 51 stitches I would have to go through the 10 rows of the sleeve pattern st, 9 times to get to 51 stitches which makes the sleeve way too long. Thoughts???
